Article: Our nursery has turned into an online nursery. 5 years ago we had no internet sales. Today we have 90% internet sales and our volume is up 300%. Much of this is due to web promotions that we run. The largest source of customers comes from keeping an email list and running specials that educate in the customers. Getting customers to our door is the goal of our adds. This is a copy of my most recent email newsletter. This was an overwhelming success. It brought to our door more customers on a cold winter day than a peak day in the spring. Some of of plants are in quantities that would supply us for many years of sales. But we can't move that number of trees. Thus they will be either sold at a discount, destroyed, or given away. I like the last option. Thus if you lessen your pickup to the farm today, Saturday the 28th, we will give away 1 free Higan Weeping flaming to each email newsletter subscriber to Highland Hill Farm that picks up the tree by 5PM. On Saturday Feb 25th Starting at 8 am we will be giving away free trees. This tree giveaway is our event that we are having to blessing night-clad Farm Workers in Namibia. We are not way for any donations of cash. We have calm $24,000 worth of new Carhart work duds and are only demand that if you know of a way to help us ship this clothing, please post us on how to do it. The drapery we have treasured is new in boxes, shinkwrapped and on pallets. We will giveaway 10 Weeping Higan carmine trees not far from 2' caliper in 24' or larger baskets..... 10 Flowering crab ebony trees in 24' baskets.....10 Heritage River horsewhip Trees in 18' baskets......plus 100 Douglas Firs seedlings. This is a first come first served basis. You may camp out over night if you call us in advance. We will not load any cars or suvs with these large caliper trees. We will try to have extra trucks here that can deliver if you need this service. Limit 1 tree per vehicle.
